Ocean Adventure is deemed one of the most popular Subic attractions and features marine animals that lure in guests to an entertaining and educational experience. The Subic Ocean Adventure is the only open-water marine park in Southeast Asia. What makes it unique is that the sea lions, whales and dolphins that are the stars of the attraction are not contained in land-based pools. Instead, the park created pens or floating habitats to house their aquatic animals in the open water. The park boasts of its environment-friendly efforts and continues to promote and teach conservation to all visitors.

Its main attraction will definitely be its lineup of shows, with the Sea Lion Show being one of the most sought-after. Sea lions contained in the park are actually South American sea lions that do all sorts of stunts in and out of water. The highlight of the show is the Whale Presentation held at the El Capitan Stadium, which is named after a shipwreck located just outside the marine park. Two False Killer Whales named Pounder and Tonker put on a mighty display for those who visit them. By diving in and out of the water and towing their trainers out to the water, these adorable whales can definitely capture the hearts of the crowd. The entire show is conducted with an educational slant in hopes that its guests will leave with a passion to help the environment.

The Discovery Aquarium in Ocean Adventure provides a walk-through a building with dozens of aquariums built into the walls. Each aquarium is home to different species of marine and fresh water creatures. Watch as the aquarium comes to vibrant and colorful life with their spectacular coral reefs and magnificent mangroves, each ecosystem presented with a unique variety of fish.

The marine park is roughly 100 kilometers from Manila, which is about a 3-hour drive away. It is open from 9 am to 6 pm with an entrance fee of 450 pesos per person. Discounted rates are available to those going in a group of ten persons or more. To be able to get up close and personal with the marine creatures, it will cost visitors extra to be able to swim with them.
